Thursday August 24th

Upon arrival transfer to the hotel Check-In.

Accommodation in the Hotel. Possibility to pick-up until 20:00hrs, the entry and race bag at the Expo at the Ciudad Deportiva. Assistance from our staff.

Friday August 25th

09:00 hrs. Breakfast in the hotel. This morning an expert tour guide will help us to explore the historical center and the large Square Constitution also known as “the base” and is the starting point to visit Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace with famous murals of Diego Rivera and the ruins Greater Temple of the Aztecs. Continue with the visit to the Plaza of Three Cultures. This city tour ends at the Expo to pick up the Marathon entry and race bag.

Afternoon free.

Saturday August 26th

09:00 hrs. Breakfast in the hotel. This morning we will go through the Marathon route to visit the south of the city along Insurgentes Avenue; the longest avenue in the city. Coyoacan, an old colonial city borough is where we will visit Frida Kahlo’s famed blue house. The tour will continue in San Angel borough, famous for its Saturday crafts market (the Saturday Bazaar) where artists and high quality craftsmen sell their wares. Afternoon free.

18:00 hrs Pasta dinner.

Sunday August 27TH


Start line is located in front of the Hotel. 07:15 departure Marathon buses are from the finish area to the Hotel. The rest of the day is for leisure and relax.

Monday August 28th

08:00 hrs. Breakfast in the hotel. TEOTIHUACAN PYRAMIDS

The enigmatic and historical Teotihuacan Pyramids is an archeological site 40 km northeast of Mexico City. The Aztecs called these ancestral edifications, often compared to ancient Rome, the “Birthplace of the Gods.” This site has a lot of small pyramids, but there are four main attractions:

  • The Temple of the Moon
  • The Temple of the Sun
  • The Temple of Quetzalcoatl
  • Museo Teotihuacán

Tuesday August 29th

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure transfer to Airport.
